Joe Allen and his wife Candace came to Perkins as Youth Pastor January of 2014. In 2020, he moved to Associate Pastor and leads worship Sunday mornings for the church. Along with leading the worship team, Joe Allen teaches a class on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings walking through books of the Bible. He enjoys seeing the Word articulated well and loves teaching.
Joe Allen and Candace have four adopted children and are passionate about helping those who are fostering or have adopted and lead a support group in the church for those connected with both.
In his spare time, Joe Allen is a jack of all trades who enjoys hunting/fishing, woodworking, playing and talking music, punk rock, the OKC Thunder and the Oklahoma Sooners.
